Tasting Notes:
Perfect ripening conditions have helped create a well-balanced, elegant wine, perfect to drink now. Deep crimson in colour with hints of purple, it has vibrant aromas of berries and plums, with hints of anise and black jube. The palate has generous fruit flavours with a touch of licorice and mint. Subtle fleshy tannins, typical of Merlot, lead to a very soft finish and a lingering fruity palate.
Great with a steak, roast lamb or chicken, full-flavoured savoury dishes, pizza or strong cheeses.

Merlot was strategically planted with specifically grafted vines on well-drained sites. Careful control of irrigation and detailed pruning promoted well-balanced vine canopies, maintained adequate crop levels and ensured that fruit was not overexposed, thus maximising the fruit quality.

Deep mulberry red-purple in colour, the blackberry and tobacco aromas of the Cabernet Sauvignon blend perfectly with the blackcurrant, spice and anise aromas of the Shiraz. The balanced, elegantly structured palate has layers of sweet plum and berry fruits complemented by toasty chocolaty oak. Soft tannins and a rich mid-palate create a lingering finish.
