2005 Sauvignon Blanc
Our price: $119.00
Tasting Notes:
Early rains and a longer ripening season led to full fruit flavour and plenty of natural acidity.
Pale straw in colour, this fresh lively wine has fresh grass and nettle aromas with lifted notes of citrus, passionfruit and guava. Refreshing citrus and tropical flavours are balanced by a lively natural acidity. This wine has lovely mid palate weight and flavours, finishing with a zesty natural acidity.
Suitable to a wide range of food: seafood, chicken, pizza and pasta, Asian dishes, salads, fruit and soft cheeses.
Region:
South Australia
Grown in red sandy soils, where clear blue skies and plenty of sun create the perfect environment for grapegrowing. Later ripening this year gives a fuller mid-palate, yet still followed by zesty acidity.
2005 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Our price: $119.00
Tasting Notes: Sauvignon Blanc provides the crisp influence to the aroma and palate: tropical fruit, gunpowder and fresh grassy nuances, giving the wine great life and zest. The Semillon imparts a rich middle palate and flavours of figs and melons with sherbet overtones. This wonderfully fresh wine is bright and lively in colour: pale gold with green hues. The aromas present fragrant fruit, lychees, lemons and figs with a hint of tropical fruit. Long fresh flavours of cut grass and honeydew are balanced with a mouthfeel of lively lemon rind and sherbet.
Region:
South Australia
The fruit is sourced mainly from the Barossa and Wrattonbully. These regions combine well for this style of wine, with generally richer wines from the slightly warmer Barossa being overlaid with fresher, more aromatic notes from Wrattonbully.
2005 Chardonnay

South Australia
The Chardonnay for this wine is sourced from the warmer inland regions of South Australia, and is grown on a range of different soil profiles.

2005 Semillon Chardonnay
Our price: $119.00
Tasting Notes: An elegant wine with aromas of citrus, apple and peach which combine beautifully with the subtle oak characters. The palate is rich with flavours of apples and citrus from the Semillon, which are complemented by the peach and dried fig characters of Chardonnay. For added complexity a portion of Semillon was fermented on oak which created a medium bodied wine and creamy texture with a smooth lingering finish.
Region:
Riverina, NSW and SE Australia:
The Semillon grapes were sourced from selected vineyards in the Riverina region of NSW. The Chardonnay grapes were selected from vineyards across South Eastern Australia. All the fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the night to preserve fruit characters. A portion of the Semillon was fermented on French oak, then held on lees to add complexity and body. The Chardonnay and Semillon were then blended to achieve this classic wine style.
Botrytis (Sticky Wine)
Our price: $70.00
Tasting Notes:
It displays a rich golden colour, produced from the Botrytis grapes. This wine has an intense and complex bouquet, with aromas of marmalade, apricot and botrytis, which are complemented by subtle oak and citrus characters. The palate is very intense and well balanced with flavours of honey, dried apricots, peach and lime. The lingering acidity gives the wine intensity and a crisp finish on the palate. This wine is drinking well now, although it will age gracefully with careful cellaring. Drink as a dessert wine with poached fruit or rich cakes, or as an aperitif with cheese and dried fruits.
